Telehealth App Platform (in stealth mode)
About Us
We’re building an Asian telehealth platform focused on longevity and healthy aging, partnering with LiveBeyond, a Singapore-based longevity company founded by Prof Brian Kennedy and Julie Ying Baron. Our app is AI-first, with an alpha version already coded, with the aim of moving into beta in October. We’re an early-stage, bootstrapped team with founders putting capital in and a clear vision for the region.
The company was co-founded by Marc van der Chijs, a serial entrepreneur with several billion dollar exits, among others Chinese online videosite Tudou.com and Bitcoin mining/AI company Hut 8.
We realised that Longevity telehealth is barely established in Southeast and East Asia, while it’s thriving in North America. We’re building the first meaningful AI-powered player in this space, using AI and vibecoding to move fast and stay flexible.
The Role
You’ll be a Technical Developer responsible for bringing our platform to life and helping finalize it for launch. This is a part-time role (10–15 hours/week initially) and ideal for a computer science student who’s entrepreneurial, wants hands-on learning, and sees the potential in what we’re building.
What You’ll Do
- AI-first development: Build and refine AI-powered features using Claude Code or other AI coding platform, from prompt engineering to agentic workflows to AI model integration
- Coding mastery: Iterate rapidly on the platform, become a go-to expert on our codebase
- Platform finalization: Help complete the app development, translating AI logic into production-ready features
- Quality & optimization: Test AI outputs, optimize prompts, ensure the platform is robust and performs well at scale
- Tech strategy input: As we scale, contribute ideas on AI and coding architecture, model selection, and platform direction
- Documentation: Keep code, prompts, and processes documented for fast iteration
Who We’re Looking For
- CS student (or recent grad) with vibecoding experience, who is fluent in English and Chinese.
- AI-first mindset: You think in terms of AI-powered solutions, prompt engineering, and agentic workflows; you’re excited about LLMs and how they can solve real problems
- Entrepreneurial mindset: You see this as a learning opportunity and a chance to build something real. This should not just be a resume line.
- Self-directed: You work well with minimal supervision and can take initiative when you spot a problem
- Fluent with LLMs: You’re comfortable using Claude, GPT, or similar models as development tools; you understand prompt design and iteration
- Comfortable with ambiguity: Early-stage means things change, you have to be flexible.
- Bonus: Experience with agentic workflows, function calling, or working with AI model APIs
Skills & Tech Stack
- Essential: Vibecoding proficiency (Python, JavaScript, or similar with LLM-assisted development)
- Core: Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript; experience with LLM APIs (Claude, OpenAI, etc.)
- Nice to have: React/frontend, agentic workflows, function calling/tool use, API development, prompt optimization
- Mindset over credentials: We care more about your problem-solving ability, AI fluency, and willingness to learn than a perfect resume
What We Offer
Monthly Stipend + Equity

- Stock options vest over a typical 4-year schedule
- Clear cap table and documentation
- Specific equity details available in conversation (we’re transparent about numbers)
Learning & Growth
- Direct mentorship from Marc van der Chijs (strategy & tech co-founder, successful serial entrepreneur with multiple billion-dollar exits)
- Deep dive into AI-first product development and vibecoding workflows
- Exposure to full-stack startup operations: product, regulatory strategy, international expansion
- Network access within the longevity, healthtech, and SE Asia startup ecosystems
- Portfolio-building opportunity: This will be a real AI-powered product with real users
Flexibility
- Part-time (~10–15 hours/week, flexible based on your schedule and our needs)
- Opportunity to increase hours/commitment as the company grows
Path to Salary
- As we reach revenue milestones and fundraise, we’ll transition to a more standard salary structure
- Your equity is the upside in this bet, the monthly stipend covers day-to-day costs
Timeline & Next Steps
- Start: Flexible, as soon as you’re ready
- Initial commitment: 3–6 months to assess fit and product-market direction
- Growth path: If it’s working, expand hours and transition toward a salaried role as the company scales

How to Apply
Send us:
- Brief intro: Who you are, what stage you’re at (e.g., 2nd year CS student), and why this excites you
- Your strongest work: GitHub link, portfolio project, or code sample
- One question for us: Shows you’ve thought about the role, ask us something real

FAQs
Q: What’s the SGD 500/month for?
A: It covers your out-of-pocket costs (AI API usage, tools, etc.) and signals that we’re serious about this. It’s not a salary, but it keeps you moving without financial stress.
Q: Will I get a salary once the company makes money?
A: Yes. Once we hit revenue targets, we’ll move to a standard employment structure with salary + equity.
Q: Do I need vibecoding experience to apply?
A: Yes, vibecoding is essential. We’re building an AI-first platform and need someone fluent in this workflow. If you’re learning vibecoding now, we can talk—but hands-on experience is important.
Q: What if I want to leave before the company succeeds?
A: Your equity vests over time. If you leave early, you keep vested options. No surprise clawbacks.
Q: Can I do this while studying full-time?
A: Yes, that’s exactly the point. 10–15 hours/week is designed to fit alongside classes.
Q: What’s the likelihood this company succeeds?
A: We’re honest: early-stage startups have high failure risk. But we have an experienced team, a real partner (LiveBeyond), clear market opportunity in SE Asia, and capital committed. Not a guarantee, but a solid bet.
Q: Can I apply if I don’t speak Chinese?
A: Yes, but because we plan to extend to mainland China and LiveBeyond has staff there as well, it would be preferred if you can speak Chinese. Fluent in English is more important though.
